Audio sources & browser limits

Microphone: listens to this device’s microphone, not directly to a Zoom meeting. Headphones may prevent it from hearing other speakers.

Tab audio fallback: on a supported desktop browser, choose the meeting’s browser tab and enable “Share tab audio.” The browser requests screen permission, but this page sends only audio. No video frames are processed or sent.

Mobile browsers and many Safari / Firefox or native-app sharing combinations do not provide tab audio. If sharing has no audio track, capture stops with an explanation. Keep the desktop tab open and awake; use your phone to view the same session.

The microphone and tab buttons are optional fallbacks; use Join meeting for the automatic bot. Audio requires HTTPS (or localhost). Disconnects stop capture; viewing reconnects automatically, but you must start audio again. Phone viewing refreshes approximately every two seconds.
